The new release is intended to enable organizations to intelligently govern the selection of the optimal project or other investment portfolios, and successfully execute on all the selected projects and investments. New management and analysis capabilities within Oracle's Primavera Portfolio Management 8 help increase an organization's ability to proactively identify risks, analyze their impacts and take appropriate action through easily accessible data comparisons and trending analysis. The solution also supports organizations with transparency into why portfolio investment choices were made, as well as visibility of progress and achievement of those investments.
New capabilities within Oracle's Primavera Portfolio Management 8 include a new versioning capability enables organizations to easily monitor changes and check progress against past performance and future milestones, improving accountability and the success rate of delivering on expected returns; enhanced visual aids to improve investment collaboration and comprehension; and an improved ability to intelligently manage multiple investment types enables organizations so that they can make more timely decisions as they expand their portfolio management processes throughout the enterprise.
