The Oracle Applications Users Group, the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, is co-hosting COLLABORATE 09: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community conference with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and Quest International Users Group, May 3-7, at the Orange County Convention Center West in Orlando, Fla.
The COLLABORATE 09-OAUG Forum offers more than 600 sessions focusing on product training across the family of Oracle Applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Agile, Hyperion, Oracle Retail, Oracle Communications and Siebel. The jointly hosted event includes more than 1,000 educational sessions. The joint event also offers members of the Oracle community an opportunity to network with peers and experts to further enhance their professional development and connections. More than 40 OAUG Special Interest Groups (SIGs) will host general SIG meetings on May 3 to provide updates on activities and an opportunity to connect with users in their particular areas of interest. OAUG Geographic User Groups (Geos) will offer a networking welcome reception on May 4 and a Geo Community Café networking lunch on May 5.
Charles Phillips, Oracle president, is the opening keynote speaker and Oracle company leaders are scheduled to be on hand throughout the conference to offer advice and share best practices as well as to present more than 200 educational sessions.
