The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), will co-host the OAUG Connection Point - Release 12.1/Fusion Applications conference, in partnership with the South Texas Oracle Applications Users Group (STOAUG) and the OAUG Upgrade SIG, July 11-12 at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown in Austin, Tex.
The conference will provide educational sessions on topics such as how to find and deal with customizations; functional and technical testing; new features for both the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 and the Oracle 11gR2 database; training recommendations; and the latest news from Oracle regarding Oracle Fusion Applications. "With Oracle's Fusion Applications being made generally available last fall, users are encouraged to learn as much as they possibly can about how to adequately prepare for the many functional and technical challenges along the way," says Mark Clark, president of the OAUG.
The call for presentations for the Austin event is open through May 10.
Future Connection Point conferences available later in the year are OAUG Connection Point - EPM/BI on Nov. 5-6 at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Fla.; and OAUG Connection Point - Release 12.2/Fusion Applications on Nov. 15-16 at the Hilton San Diego Bay Front in San Diego, Calif.
