The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, announced its 2010 OAUG Connection Point conference series, three 2-day, intensive forums that enable attendees to collaborate and train with educators and executives from around the world on specific Oracle solutions.
"The series of OAUG Connection Point conferences demonstrates the global reach of Oracle-related applications and highlights the OAUG's role in serving the growing Oracle community," states David Ferguson, president of the OAUG. "This conference series also provides access to useful training and one-on-one discussions with Oracle experts, enabling users worldwide to gain best practices that can help them optimize their company's information technology and applications investment."
The first conference, OAUG Connection Point - Enterprise Performance Management, is taking place today and tomorrow in Jersey City, NJ. The conference, with more than 35 educational sessions, enables accounting and finance professionals, internal audit staff and IT professionals to network and receive an understanding of application roadmaps and practical solutions to better leverage their current and prospective investments across all of the Oracle EPM applications and tools.
The second conference, OAUG Connection Point - Dubai, takes place March 17-18 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The forum will be led by a team of renowned speakers and Oracle executives who lead more than 25 sessions on topics such as Fusion Middleware 11g, Applications Architecture and Infrastructure, Customer Relationship Management, and Human Resources.
The final 2010 conference of the series, OAUG Connection Point - Budapest, is presented in partnership with the German Oracle Users Group and the Hungarian Oracle Users Group and takes place May 4-5 in Budapest, Hungary. A team of speakers and Oracle executives, including Ognjen Pavlovic, senior director of product strategy, and Dr. Nadia Benjedou, Oracle Fusion specialist and evangelist, will lead more than 20 sessions on topics such as Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Integration, and Custom Development and Applications Architecture and Infrastructure.
