The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), has formed an Enterprise Manager Special Interest Group (SIG) to enable OAUG members using Oracle Enterprise Manager to more effectively share educational information and best practices related to the Applications functionality of Oracle Enterprise Manager.
The Enterprise Manager SIG website provides more information about the group along with news, articles, white papers and links to Oracle resources.
The OAUG also announced the launch of the Texas-Louisiana OAUG (TLOAUG), a new OAUG Geographic User Group (Geo) pertaining specifically to users located in the Texas and Louisiana areas. The new Geo was formed to enable users within those regions to share best practices and experiences with each other and local Oracle representatives, and revitalize a portion of the former South Central OAUG. Details about the group’s mission, activities and events, and membership are available on the TLOAUG website.
“The nearly simultaneous creation of the Enterprise Manager SIG and the TLOAUG demonstrates the explosive growth of educational opportunities specifically designed for members with like-minded goals and interests,” said Alyssa Johnson, president of the OAUG.
