The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) has re-elected Mark C. Clark as its 2012 president and elected the members of the organization's executive committee. "The OAUG will continue to help its members increase productivity and return on investment throughout 2012 by focusing on the meaningful core benefits of membership, such as targeted educational programs, professional networking opportunities, and meaningful interaction and influence with Oracle," said Clark.
Clark has been an active member of the OAUG since 1992 and first served as OAUG president in 2011. As a senior partner at O2Works LLC, he is currently engaged with customers worldwide in their Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 and 12.1 efforts.
As president, Clark chairs the 2012 OAUG executive committee, which is responsible for the organization's strategic planning process and direction. In addition to Clark, members of this year's executive committee are, Margaret Wright, executive vice president; Alyssa Johnson, secretary; and Robert Tee; treasurer.
Serving on the 2012 OAUG board of directors are Clark as well as John Bushell, JT&M Bushell; Patricia Dues, City of Las Vegas; Melissa English, Alticor, parent company of Amway Corp.; Andrew Farber, Consumer Reports; Christine Hipp, Los Alamos National Laboratory; Joseph Imbimbo, PPG Industries; Alyssa Johnson, ROLTA; Kaberi Nayak, MITRE Corp.; Tammy Norton, Emerging Solutions; Robert Tee, Ministry of Government Services, Province of Ontario; and Margaret Wright, Southern Company.
OAUG Star Program
Separately the OAUG also announced the organizations participating in the 2012 OAUG Star Partner Program, which connects providers of related products and solutions with Oracle Applications users throughout the year.
Participating organizations in the program promote their products and services to help Oracle Applications users enhance their productivity, while OAUG members are educated about the latest trends and solutions from some of the industry's top suppliers and consultants.
OAUG Star Partners in 2012 include: EiS Technologies, IBM and Noetix as Five-Star partners; Excel4apps and Project Partners as Four-Star partners and Centroid, Chain-Sys, Core Services Corp., HP, Informatica, More4Apps, O2Works, Rimini Street, Inc. and Rolta as Three-Star partners. In addition, 20 other organizations are participating in the program at the Two-Star Elite, Two-Star, and Rising-Star levels.
