Twenty startups from the SAP Startup Focus program have signed commercial agreements to go productive with the SAP HANA One platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to SAP. Since the launch of the SAP Startup Focus program six months ago, more than 800 startups from 17 countries were evaluated and 153 were selected for participation.
More than 60% of the startups are from non-traditional markets. These include businesses such as Better Food, which provides sustainable and safe food management services across the value chain, Mobilistic Innovative Business Solutions, which predicts epidemics by aggregating data from thousands of pharmacies and Alacris Theranostics, for the development of personalized drug therapies of cancer patients based on individual cancer genome profiles.
The SAP Startup Focus program is a development and growth accelerator that provides an integrated approach for startups to innovate on the SAP HANA platform. The end-to-end program offers a variety of resources for young companies including technology, training, technical advice and valuable go-to-market support.
