Microsoft has announced it is retiring Azure Blockchain as of September 10, 2021. The company asked that customers migrate their ledger data from Azure Blockchain Service to an alternative offering based on their development status in production or evaluation and gave advice on how to make a selection of an alternative.
The announcement was made in a blog post.
According to Microsoft, the first step when planning a migration is to evaluate alternative offerings. Evaluate the alternatives based on your development status of being in production or evaluation. Microsoft also offered suggestions for steps to follow.

Microsoft gave no reasons for the closing of the Azure Blockchain Service.
