Logic Information Systems, Inc., based in Minneapolis, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Yomari Information Services. The two companies have partnered together for many years, and say that Yomari’s expertise in business intelligence (BI) and big data analytics, added to Logic’s expertise in large-scale enterprise systems integration services in the retail industry, will create synergies in providing end-to-end business process optimization services to their customers.
“We did this for one reason,” said Logic CEO and co-founder Bill Szlaius, “to put business intelligence front and center. The Yomari acquisition will help enrich our service by making business analytics a central part of our portfolio such that our clients are able to make better business decisions and drive growth opportunities through data-driven insights. This will help our clients serve their customers better, manage their inventory more efficiently, and drive value for everyone.”
According to Logic, a Gold level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, the acquisition of Yomari represents a natural extension to its current service offering as a service provider for Oracle Retail solutions, and is a major milestone in Logic’s strategy to establish itself as a leading systems integration and business process services provider in this space, with end-to-end knowledge across the Oracle Retail product footprint and geographic reach across retailers around the world.
