Kore Technologies, a provider of enterprise integration and e-commerce solutions with extensive expertise in MultiValue technology, has introduced new enhancements to KommerceServer e-commerce Suite. Built with Microsoft .NET technology and Microsoft SQL Server, KommerceServer provides web storefront and portal solutions that help enterprises to extend their reach over the internet.
Many of the new features in the latest release are targeted at distributors, and in particular, Epicor (formerly Activant) Prelude and Eclipse users, a segment that is increasingly finding success with KommerceServer, observes Ken Dickinson, managing partner at Kore. In particular, Kore has made an investment to make KommerceServer more user-friendly and "Amazon-like," he adds.
Continuing Kore's commitment to provide robust out-of-the-box functionality, key new features in KommerceServer Suite 5.2 include the ability to restrict customer orders geographically for organizations that only have distribution rights for specific areas. In addition, a key feature planned for the 5.3 release will enable distributors to show inventory availability at the individual branches, and would allow customers to select the nearest branch for order pickup.
KommerceServer is available in multiple configurations with Express Solutions available for rapid implementation, or can be customized or extended for companies requiring integrated websites supporting multiple entities.
