Infosys is partnering with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to offer a joint end-to-end mainframe modernization solution. Infosys, through this partnership with HPE, is seeking to enable clients to simplify their IT landscape by redeploying existing mainframes on modern architecture.
Customers will be able to securely re-host and re-engineer their business-critical enterprise applications on modern hardware and software architecture, said Ravi Kumar, president and deputy chief operating officer for Infosys.
The solution is aimed at facilitating development of new business models supported by new technologies such as AI, automation, and newer classes of middleware and database architecture which will enable companies to transform seamlessly from mainframe platforms.
Infosys' Mainframe Modernization Solution powered by HPE’s Mission Critical Computing Systems will offer an integrated platform that will help take their legacy applications to modern hardware and software architecture, enable cloud and mobile-ready applications, and also reduce cost and enhance customer experiences, according to the vendors.
