Attunity Ltd., a provider of information availability software solutions, has signed an OEM reseller agreement with Infor, an ERP solutions provider. The agreement enables Infor to offer Attunity’s mainframe data connectivity software to its customers using Infor E Series and M Series mainframe-based financials and payroll/personnel applications.
Infor now provides business application software to more than 70,000 customers worldwide, observed Itamar Ankorion, vice president of business development and corporate strategy at Attunity, during an interview with 5 Minute Briefing. “They have hundreds of customers that use those products,” he added. With this partnership, Infor intends to help customers to further integrate and automate business processes with other enterprise applications to improve their business operations. The partnership will help Info customers get more value from their existing investment in the company’s software, said Ankorion. In addition, he noted, “For those customers that want to migrate to a new application in the Infor product line, Infor wants to provide services that would facilitate that process coupled by software that would make that easier and faster to do.”
Attunity has been a long-term vendor in the mainframe data integration space and has many successful partnerships, he said. “Infor did a stringent evaluation of the software and selected Attunity as the right partner and the right technology to meet their needs.”
