Hitachi Vantara is partnering with Kyndryl in a strategic move aimed at advancing data storage offerings to provide customers the top-tier solutions that meet today’s evolving digital landscape.
Hitachi Vantara has taken the next step in its ongoing collaboration with Kyndryl, reaching a significant milestone with the addition of its technology to Kyndryl’s Private Cloud Services portfolio. This allows Hitachi Vantara to offer storage platforms to Kyndryl customers seeking data center technology, according to the company.
To address the rising demand for scalable, secure, and efficient data storage, the partnership introduces a highly flexible pay-as-you-go framework for Storage as a Service (STaaS). This enables clients to benefit from a consumption-based operating model, eliminating capital expenses associated with deploying private cloud infrastructure, according to the companies.
“This collaboration reinforces our commitment to providing cutting-edge storage solutions tailored to clients’ diverse needs,” said Debbie Foster-Nevin, vice president of global alliances at Kyndryl. “The synergy between Kyndryl’s proficiency in cloud infrastructure services and Hitachi Vantara’s leadership in hybrid cloud and data storage makes this an ideal partnership. We share a commitment to pushing technological boundaries and ensuring seamless integration for our clients.”
The fusion of Hitachi Vantara’s technological innovation and Kyndryl’s global delivery capabilities opens a whole new realm of possibilities for customers, according to the companies.
“I am very excited to enhance our storage portfolio for distributed systems by expanding our partnership with Hitachi Vantara, bringing industry-leading reliability and efficiency to our customers who require a modern data platform in support of their critical workloads,” said?Stephen O’Brien, director and principal architect for STaaS, Kyndryl Private Cloud.
