BackOffice Associates' HiT Software division, a provider of connectivity middleware for IBM DB2 databases, and data replication and change data capture (CDC) solutions for heterogeneous database environments, has released HiT ODBC/400 v10.0 and HiT OLEDB/400 v6.0, the newest versions of its high-performance connectivity products for application access to IBM DB2 for i databases.
The products offer new features, including full support for Microsoft Windows 8, SQL Server 2012 Data Tools and Windows Server 2012, including backward-compatible support for previous versions; new x64-compliant APIs; a new option to store frequently used SQL statements for increased efficiency in data access; and improved support for Japanese and Hebrew/Arabic language conversions. In addition, HiT ODBC/400 offers full support for MS Office 2010 /2013 applications
