HiT Software, a provider of data integration products and division of a BackOffice Associates, LLC, says it is shipping a new version of its change data capture and replication product that provides support for multiple databases as well as support for Netezza data warehouse appliance. The new product, DBMoto 7, also delivers data verification, enhanced administrative security options, and log-based replication for IBM DB2 LUW.
Enterprises demand the ability to synchronize changed data among multiple databases, which enables faster data availability and nearly immediate reporting. With DBMoto 7, businesses can reliably and efficiently move information in real time among multiple databases to be consumed by operational, business intelligence and data warehouse applications.
"Enterprises demand more data flexibility to support data governance objectives as well as operational applications such as SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and other ERP suites," Carolyn Hughes, marketing director, HiT Software, tells 5 Minute Briefing. "Our DBMoto data synchronization product gives DBAs and IT staff extensive flexibility to move and share data in real-time across whatever database systems they have in house."
HiT also has begun supporting the needs of Netezza data warehouse users via integration with Netezza TwinFin appliances. "This allows users to both bulk load and then perform change data capture from their Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 or other database, to their Netezza appliance," Hughes says. "HiT Software has many customers today who use their relational databases for data warehousing and analytic requirements. DBMoto helps save money and time by eliminating the need to replace systems or hire additional staff for a database-specific data integration solution or expensive ETL suite."
DBMoto 7 is available for free download as a 30-day trial, the vendor says.
