GT Software, a provider of enterprise modernization solutions, announced that it has joined the partner program for Rackspace Hosting, a relationship that provides a cloud infrastructure and services program that enables organizations to take legacy mainframe applications, data and processing to the Rackspace cloud environment
Membership in the Rackspace Partner Program allows GT Software to incorporate Rackspace cloud services into its product and services portfolio.
“The GT Software cloud solutions, used in concert with the Rackspace solutions, enable companies to quickly and flexibly migrate legacy mainframe applications, data and workload into the Rackspace cloud,” says Eric Nelson, president of GT Software.
GT Software says its products and services already support all major cloud deployment models including, private, public and hybrid cloud scenarios. In addition to moving problematic or under-utilized legacy applications to the cloud, the new offering enables organizations to use the cloud to off-load batch processing with hybrid GT Software solutions.
