GT Software, a provider of enterprise modernization solutions, announced availability of a new version of its legacy modernization suite, which includes support for JCA Resource Adapters and a new IMS/TM Application Wizard.
Version 4.4 of Ivory Service Architect's support for JCA Resource Adapters expands implementation choices for Ivory Enterprise deployments with J2EE Application Servers, the vendor says. JCA Resource Adapters provide central management role in the integration and connectivity between Ivory Server, Enterprise Information Systems and the J2EE Application Servers.
"Open standard solutions like Ivory Service Architect allow clients the freedom of choice when selecting their J2EE Application Server with JCA Support," says Steve Able, CTO of GT Software. "We will continue to invest in research and development to provide more solutions based on J2EE Connector Architecture in future versions of Ivory Service Architect."
The IMS/TM application wizard of Ivory Studio enables developers to increase the speed of delivery of enterprise web services. Ivory Studio Project Wizards are designed to automate the process of building web services.
The IMS/TM application wizard enhancements are intended to help users create new business logic interfaces for IMS/TM from WSDL service contracts. Providing the ability to create Ivory Services from existing service contracts promotes the sharing of application development across multiple departments of the enterprise. "Business units now have the ability to define service contracts based on business requirements and with the Ivory tooling automatically create the assets required by IMS/TM application designers," Able says.
