GT Software, a provider of multiplatform business tools, announced the release of new enhancements to its flagship Ivory Service Suite line, incorporating greater support for big data elements and messaging formats. New features to Ivory Service Architect (v4.6) include IMS/TM, providing support for multiple segment output message support. The new release also includes variable length output message support, and support for modern data types (i.e., images, video, and other binary formats) via Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM).
“This enhancement marks GT Software’s continued commitment to helping enterprise organizations not only support today’s infrastructure demands, but also rest assured that they will continue to thrive when faced with future innovations,” said Scott Lance, president of GT Software.
Ivory Service Architect enables users to easily extend access to mainframe applications, data and processes through Web services. The new release also incorporates protection of company assets with Microsoft TFS source control integration, and improved performance via a native 64-bit Ivory Studio.
The Ivory Service Architect v4.6 enhancements complement the existing platform benefits, which include bi-directional web services; SOAP, REST and JSON support; and service orchestration.
