Event Store Cloud’s Latest Enhancements Improve Management, Ease of Use, and Time-to-Value


Event Store, the event-native data platform company, is announcing a series of improvements to Event Store Cloud, the company’s fully managed offering of EventStoreDB, centered on streamlining management as well as increasing ease of use and time-to-value. In addition to the enhancements, Event Store Cloud is now available on the AWS Marketplace

Event Store Cloud delivers fully managed EventStoreDB clusters in the cloud, streamlining cluster management so that developers can focus more of their energy on innovation. Unlike more traditional databases, Event Store Cloud logs every event in sequence, forming a comprehensive lineage of data that creates rich context for downstream models, according to the company. With Event Store Cloud, users can feed real-time, business-critical data into fine-grained streams, accommodating a wide variety of use cases from analytics to  microservices and AI.

The latest enhancements to Event Store Cloud include:

  • Self-service capabilities, such as the ability to resize clusters up and down, to improve ease of operations 
  • Credit card sign-up and automated provisioning on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, reducing provisioning time from days to minutes
  • Access to the AWS Marketplace that enables customers to user their AWS credits for Event Store Cloud, delivering the benefits of AWS’ streamlined deployment and centralized management functionality 
  • Enhanced security and management including multi-factor authentication and a detailed audit log for tracking user actions
  • Easier network configuration with access to public internet and AWS private links, coming soon
