Entrinsik is showcasing its new Informer dashboard product at its Informer User Conference (ICON), March 4-6 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in Raleigh, NC. The upcoming event will be Entrinsik's second user conference.
With the new Informer Dashboards, Informer can quickly turn real time information into visualizations including pie, line, bar and column charts, to monitor critical performance indicators. The data is refreshed on the dashboards on a scheduled basis, or it can be done manually, if the dashboard developer gives users permission to do so. According to Doug Leupen, president and CEO, of Entrinsik, the product which will be formally launched at the conference has already been through successful alpha and beta testing with customers.
In addition, Entrinsik has also announced the first annual Operational Business Intelligence Awards. Informer customers have been invited to share their successes and describe how they apply Informer's capabilities to improve operational efficiency. The deadline for nominations is February 29 and details are available on the Entrinsik website. The awards will be presented at the conference.
Last year's conference drew 170 attendees and this year's conference registration is tracking to be slightly less than 300 people, Leupen says. Sales build on word of mouth and happy customers, says Leupen, explaining it is important for everyone to be up to speed on Informer's latest features and functions so they can get the most out of them.
This year's agenda will include breakout sessions with members of the Informer product development team, panel discussions on best practices and methodologies, and customer-led use cases demonstrating how Informer is being deployed by customers. Each session will be focused on skill-building with several sessions offering hands-on opportunities using a web-based demo database to enable attendees to practice exercises at their own pace.
There will also be advanced technical workshops for one-on-one training focusing on Informer's SDK, Javascript for end users, and dashboards. Informer Dashboards, scheduled for release early 2012, will add more sophisticated visualization capabilities to the powerful reporting solution. In addition, throughout the conference, there will be opportunities to share ideas with Entrinsik developers, support staff, and fellow users.
