Entrinsik, developer of the Informer agile reporting and business intelligence software, recently chose the winners of its annual Business Intelligence Use Case Awards, to be presented Tuesday, October 1st at the 2013 Informer User Conference (ICON). Awards are presented to customers for best deployment scenarios that demonstrate the useful and creative ways in which they are using Informer for analytics, business process improvements, and decision making. The conference is scheduled to be held September 30 – October 2, 2013, at Myrtle Beach, SC.
The grand prize winner, chosen from many excellent submissions, is Kara Bosch from Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) in Charlotte, NC. According to Bosch and her team from CPCC, the improved security and user friendliness of Informer allowed the college to release the tool to 382 users in order to run reports and 66 power users able to create and modify reports. According to the college’s submission, “With Informer, users can more efficiently perform their daily business processes and make timely decisions using the most current data. The implementation of Informer put the data in the hands of the users, who know the data best, more quickly than ever before.”
At the conference, Entrinsik will also be welcoming keynote speaker Mark Pick of Pick Cloud, Inc., and special presenter Bill Harrison of Epicom, both of whom will be presenting special sessions at the conference this year. ICON 2013 will also include breakout sessions with members of the Informer product development team, panel discussions on best practices and methodologies, one-on-one product training, and networking with Informer users from other organizations. Conference attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Informer and learn about all of the new features, updates, and exciting developments that Entrinsik has planned for Informer.
