Domino Data Lab, provider of the leading Enterprise AI Platform trusted by the largest AI-driven companies, is announcing an array of platform capabilities and integrations with leading AI innovators—AWS, NetApp, and NVIDIA—that focus on accelerating AI time-to-value while reducing costs and risk. Accompanied by Domino’s ongoing momentum in the SaaS market—having experienced a 750% increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) over the last year—the company continues its rapid innovation in the AI enablement space.
Domino’s latest capabilities and integrations are a response to the need for enterprises to adopt increasingly complex, diverse tools to support their AI initiatives. To effectively maintain high-volume data, high compute demands, and coordination across AI, IT, and security teams, enterprises are faced with a difficult—and costly—scale to balance.
Nick Elprin, CEO and co-founder at Domino, echoes this sentiment, explaining how "the rapid pace of AI innovation has brought immense complexity for enterprises needing to orchestrate diverse tools and infrastructure. Domino's latest capabilities simplify this process, enabling organizations to manage and scale AI initiatives seamlessly across any environment."
To help businesses achieve AI value faster, Domino now supports NVIDIA NIM microservices, a set of easy-to-use microservices for accelerating the deployment of foundation models on any cloud or data center. Domino customers will now be able to bring GenAI to production across hybrid clouds with ease, as well as innovate with open-source pre-trained models—such as Llama 3.1 and Mistral NeMo 12B—paired with built-in governance, secure access, and enhanced performance.
Domino is also featuring new Project Templates, which help increase the quality and consistency of AI projects. In just a few clicks, enterprises can define and share AI project best practices, such as code, datasets, environments, and configurations.
Key to the Fall Release is Domino’s collaboration with AWS and NetApp, offering integrations that empower enterprises to efficiently scale AI deployments while keeping costs low, according to the company.
Now, enterprises have the option to deploy models to Amazon SageMaker in an effort to increase performance and cost efficiency while maintaining the holistic visibility and governance that Domino provides. Additionally, Domino is announcing support for AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia chips, expanding its accelerated compute options.
As part of its NetApp collaboration, Domino is debuting Domino Volumes for NetApp ONTAP (DVNO), which enables NetApp ONTAP and Domino clients to quickly access and use NetApp data anywhere, across any environment, without incurring DevOps overhead. Paired with one-click creation and management storage capabilities, this integration is capable of reducing costs and processing times by up to 50%, based on use cases.
"NetApp and Domino both fundamentally believe that AI will be driven by the hybrid cloud to turbocharge AI workflows at scale and on budget," said Jonsi Stefansson, senior vice president and chief technology officer at NetApp. "NetApp's innovations in intelligent data infrastructure are bringing AI to our customers' data, wherever and however they need it. By collaborating with NetApp, Domino is giving data scientists and data engineers the ability to secure, unify, and scale their data operations alongside enhanced AI tooling to achieve their AI goals."
"By strategically collaborating with NetApp and integrating their data solutions into Domino's platform, Domino is enhancing their position in the enterprise AI market, while enabling NetApp to advance their own AI ecosystem," said Mike Leone, practice director and principal analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group. "In industries like biopharmaceuticals, where AI governance is crucial for speed and safety, this partnership can enable customers to accelerate AI deployments and provide a competitive edge that truly delivers transformative value at enterprise scale."
