The partnership aims to combine Discovery Health’s industry experience and best-in-class healthcare systems platform with SAP’s software expertise to yield a unique, cutting-edge, all-inclusive health insurance solution.

Combining Discovery’s shared value insurance approach and health insurance expertise with the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA, the new offering will provide a fully integrated, data-driven platform.
Core elements of the platform will include a rich data layer, a best-in-class insurance offering (including benefits management, claims processing and policy administration, disease management, care coordination, and healthcare and wellness elements customized for the user), and omnichannel customer engagement to put consumers at the heart of the platform.
