DBI Software, a provider of performance monitoring, tuning, and trending tools for IBM Db2 LUW and SQL Server databases, is releasing version 10 of the DBI Web Performance Suite.
Version 10 of the Web Suite, collector, and classic tools includes many new features and enhancements such as auto purge of data settings at the collector and individual databases/Instances; multiple alert service quiet times; and enhances User and application data collection using event monitors (Db2).
Highlights of the new release include an enterprise license will allow the auto addition of new servers; stale data checking based on actual database time zone; auto-add a Db to the monitored databases for an instance (SS); collection will stop for a deleted instance (SS); collector version number in About box; auto saving of license to all repositories custom SNMP community string, and more.
