Cohesity, the leader in AI-powered data security, is unveiling a myriad of new features for Cohesity NetBackup 11.0—the advanced data protection solution with integrated cyber resilience. These new features—from quantum-proof encryption to support for more PaaS workloads—are designed to help organizations prepare for current and future cyber threats, according to Cohesity.
Cohesity NetBackup 11.0 offers four new features, including:
- Quantum-proof encryption that protects against “harvest now, decrypt later” quantum computing attacks, as well as secures long-term confidentiality across all major communication paths with NetBackup, including encrypted data in transit and server-side dedupe, to client-side dedupe, and more
- Broadened user behavior monitoring which monitors for additional unusual user actions, capable of stopping or slowing down an attack
- Improved risk scoring which automatically provisions recommended values for more security settings, as well as dynamically stops malicious configuration changes
- Expanded cloud support and PaaS workflows protection, now including Yugabyte; Amazon DocumentDB; Amazon Neptune; Azure Cosmos DB (Cassandra and Table API); Amazon RDS Custom for SQL Server and Oracle Snapshots; and Azure DevOps/GitHub/GitLab
