Calypso Technology, Inc., an integrated capital markets platform provider, announced that Calypso version 14 has achieved Oracle Exadata Optimized status through Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN). Calypso Technology is a Gold level member of OPN.
Calypso is designed to operate efficiently on standard hardware as well as achieve extreme performance on engineered systems such as Oracle Exadata.
According to Tej Sidhu, senior vice president for Engineering and CTO at Calypso Technology, in simulations of data-intensive straight through-processing tasks, Calypso achieved performance gains of up to 500% using Exadata hardware. “Additionally, we saw a 2.8x faster data injection rate which allows customers to easily scale and manage increasing volumes in a short amount of time. This is a significant advantage that the Calypso architecture provides to our customers.”
Oracle Exadata Optimized is part of the Oracle Exastack Optimized program which allows partners to leverage OPN enablement resources and dedicated lab environments to help develop, test and tune their applications on Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine and Oracle SuperCluster engineered systems.
