CA Technologies announced a global distribution agreement with Nastel Technologies, a middleware infrastructure monitoring and management company, which adds Nastel’s AutoPilot for middleware management to CA's cross-platform offerings.
CA will resell and distribute Nastel’s AutoPilot for middleware, covering IBM WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, DataPower and TIBCO. The AutoPilot solution complements the performance management solutions that CA offers by extending the management and monitoring capabilities deeper in the middleware infrastructure.
“Customers around the world are looking for an enterprise solution that manages their middleware infrastructure across mainframe, distributed and cloud platforms,” says Dayton Semerjian, general manager of CA's mainframe division. “Given the success of our cross-platform application performance management solution, this partnership makes great sense as it extends our already robust monitoring and management capabilities into one of the fastest growing adjacent segments.”
While CA Application Performance Management provides application and transaction monitoring and CA SYSVIEW Performance Management monitors mainframe performance, AutoPilot provides monitoring and management of the middleware infrastructure.
The AutoPilot for Middleware Management solution and its support for the IBM WebSphere MQ family and other middleware solutions is now shipping via CA Technologies.
