Early bird registration is now open for the Big Data Boot Camp, a two-day intensive dive into the world of big data. The conference, produced by Database Trends and Applications, will be held Tuesday, May 21, through Wednesday, May 22, at the Hilton New York.
The advent of social media and its impact on “customer everything” has left many companies inundated with data that is challenging to collect, manage, and act on. Many organizations are concerned about how the new data management paradigm will impact and/or disrupt their business model.
The agenda of the Big Data Boot Camp has been designed to bring together thought leaders and practitioners who will identify emerging technologies and provide case studies and best practices in big data management.
Conference attendees will hear from a wide range of data and database experts, including information architects, database consultants, innovators, legal experts, database and analytics vendors, and information technology professionals (peer practitioners), who are addressing many of the issues that big data encompasses today. Attendees will also learn about how other organizations are leveraging big data for competitive advantage, where their smart data is and how they use it, as well as the legal issues associated with collecting, managing, and archiving big data.
Registration includes access to conference sessions; light continental breakfast and breaks daily; lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday; access to the Big Data Showcase; welcome reception on Tuesday evening; and access to the conference presentations online.
Register by March 19, to obtain the early bird discount. More information is available at www.bigdatabootcamp.net/.
