Attunity is developing a solution for fast data loading into Amazon Redshift, AWS’s new data warehouse in the cloud. The Attunity solution is expected to be available for customer preview in March 2013.
While Amazon Redshift can offer organizations reductions in the total costs of owning and operating a data warehouse, companies still face challenges in terms of moving large amounts of data from their on-premise data centers into the cloud data warehouse. Attunity’s solution is aimed at simplifying the data movement process by leveraging high-performance database replication and high-speed data transfer technologies, making it easier for customers to gain the business and cost-saving benefits of Redshift.
