Attunity, Ltd., a provider of real-time data integration and event capture software, has announced the availability of the public beta release of Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS. The beta product is "a bespoke solution" for the SQL Server and SSIS community that aims to make replication and real-time integration of Oracle data using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) robust and easy to deploy.
Based on Attunity's Attunity Stream (CDC) product that streams data based only on the changes made to the source systems, Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS is a complete solution for integrating continually changing Oracle data into SSIS in real-time, according to Attunity. It simplifies the creation of data integration processes, accelerates implementation time, and reduces resource requirements and costs, all with minimal impact on the Oracle source systems. Using Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS, users of Microsoft's SQL Server and Business Intelligence Platform can now implement enterprise-class data replication, synchronization, and real-time business intelligence and data warehousing projects efficiently, leveraging their existing SQL Server investments and resource skills, Attunity states.
Specifically architected for the Microsoft SSIS developer community, Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS is available for both SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008. It is scheduled for general availability this month.
"As a pioneer and leader in change data capture software, we've been helping enterprises for years access their operational and transactional data, for applications such as real-time BI, replication and application synchronization, in the most efficient, low-impact manner," says Andy Bailey, vice president of marketing, Attunity, in the announcement outlining the beta release. "We're very excited about now bringing this advanced capability to the large community of people using SQL Server and Oracle.
SQL Server and SSIS developers are invited to join the Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS beta program by going here.
