Attunity Ltd., a provider of information availability software solutions, has formed a new partnership with HP and announced the availability of its enhanced Attunity Click-2-Load solution for HP Vertica. The solution provides automation and optimized technologies that accelerate data loading to HP Vertica from disparate sources, and then maintains the changed data continuously and efficiently.
Attunity for HP Vertica facilitates the movement of incremental changes via innovative and powerful TurboStream CDC, a log-based change data capture (CDC) technology, which streams high volumes of transactional changes captured from the source databases to the data warehouse with low impact on the source.
According to Attunity, an issue for companies looking to implement big data analytics is the need to quickly set up new heterogeneous data feeds and then load these fast enough to meet their demanding business needs. Traditional solutions were not built to effectively handle the variety and volume of today’s data, and traditional technologies for loading data pose challenges in development time, performance, and cost.
