Attivio, creator of Active Intelligence Engine (AIE) unified information access platform, has released version 4.0 of its Active Intelligence Engine designed to eliminate the source integration challenge. This release brings three new key business features and benefits to the AIE - the AIE Predictive Analytics Module, AIE Business Center and AIE Scope Search.
Attivio’s new Predictive Analytics Module adds the power of prediction to the AIE platform, making information quickly actionable across every possible source. It features classification, regression analysis and pair correlation capabilities. “The key thing about predictive analytics is in order to really do a good job and make the most of what you are trying to predict, you need to be able to get the data together quickly,” said Sid Probstein, CTO at Attivio.
The AIE Business Center can be used by non-technical business users, business managers and search analysts to get very fine grain control over the search experience. “The BusinessCenter is a complete end user application for managing the search experience and making it that customized and personalized Amazon-like experience that people want,” explained Probstein.
AIE Scope Search, through the support of complex hierarchical data structures, maintains the crucial functionality of an XML database while displaying premium quality performance and flexibility of comparable advanced search engines.
“These capabilities continue to demonstrate our unique approach to unified information access and advanced enterprise search,” Probstein said.
Attivio has also expanded its language support by now handling more than 50 languages from around the world and added a Search Analytics Interaction Layer (SAIL) that allows partners and customers to quickly assemble their own highly graphical UI and visualizations especially intended to provide a bridge between the world of BI and search.
