AttackIQ’s Flex 2.0 Continues to Harden Enterprises Against Latest Cyber Threats

AttackIQ, the leading independent vendor of breach and attack simulation (BAS) solutions and a founding research partner of the MITRE Engenuity Center for Threat-Informed Defense (CTID), is debuting Flex 2.0, the latest iteration of its agentless BAS solution. As security threats continue to evolve, Flex 2.0 empowers enterprises to quickly and effectively assess their security postures as needed.

Leveraging advanced adversary emulation based on the MITRE ATT&CK framework, Flex 2.0 introduces an array of enhancements that enable organizations to rigorously test their security controls.

Flex 2.0 brings with it a new Insights Dashboard, a holistic tool that delivers actionable performance insights. When paired with new capabilities such as Test Performance Scoring and Performance by MITRE Tactic, this new feature streamlines security performance views while driving continuous improvement, according to AttackIQ.

This latest update also offers the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) Test Package, enabling financial entities to increase their cybersecurity visibility in adherence to DORA requirements. Similarly, with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Test Package, Flex 2.0 customers benefit from test packages that operationalize NIST requirements.

Finally, Flex 2.0 expands its testing assessments, introducing a variety of new assessments that help enterprises prepare against emerging threats and commonly used adversary tactics. Improved security baselines test critical controls, including network security, next-generation firewalls, and endpoint detection and response, according to AttackIQ.

“Many organizations struggle to keep pace with evolving threats due to the challenges of security control testing, leaving them vulnerable to attack,” said Carl Wright, chief commercial officer of AttackIQ. “Flex 2.0 addresses this challenge by providing on-demand, actionable insights. Our new Insights Dashboard empowers security teams to improve their overall security performance, while our expanding compliance test packages help organizations mitigate risk and avoid costly penalties.”
