Alludo, the global technology company helping people work better and live better, is announcing Parallels Desktop 19 for Mac, the latest iteration of its virtualization solution designed to accommodate the latest updates from Apple while enhancing a plethora of experience components.
Following Parallels Desktop’s recent achievement of both Microsoft authorization and certification as an Arm SystemReady VE solution, this update improves upon the solution’s existing features while introducing various new innovations.

Parallels Desktop 19 for Mac offers enhanced macOS compatibility for macOS Sonoma 14, which includes:
- Re-engineered Shared Printing via Internet Printing protocol (IPP) with out-of-the-box Windows app printing
- Dynamic resolution adjustments
- Familiar multi-touch gestures with Trackpad support
- Remote access to macOS Sonoma 14 VM via port forwarding for Pro Edition users
In addition to improved compatibility, Parallels Desktop 19 features passwordless sign-in with Touch ID integration and a refreshed, redesigned UI and app icon.
The latest release also focuses on empowering computer-aided design (CAD) engineers, developers, computer science students, and IT teams through several support and performance improvements. These include:
- Improved OpenGL support, up to version 4.1
- Improved performance for AcrGIS Pro
- Compatibility with CentOS 9 Stream on Mac computers with Apple silicon, accompanied by ready-to-go Linux distributions such as Ubuntu 22.04.2, Fedora 38, Debian 12, and more
- Ability to generate ARM-based Linux VM on Mac computers with Apple silicon using Rosetta to run x86-64 binaries, including containers
- Improved support for HashiCorp’s Packer and Vagrant with macOS VM on Apple silicon
- Windows 11 Intune enrolling support when deploying via Parallels My Account Configuration Profile or as a shared file
