A lot has happened in the MultiValue database market over the last 50 years. Mark Pick, CEO of Pick Cloud, will reflect on 50 years of Pick and what is to come in the future in a presentation at the Zayo Group’s (formerly Latisys) data center in Irvine
Zayo provides comprehensive bandwidth infrastructure services in more than 300 markets throughout the U.S. and Europe and has become an important partner to Pick Cloud.
“Latisys was acquired by Zayo Group. We originally partnered with Latisys due to their nationwide and U.K. footprint and state-of-the art facilities,” explained Pick. “They could handle our growth and provide a wealth of expertise in networking, VMware and cloud computing that perfectly complements our PICK expertise to provide a low-cost, enterprise-grade hardware and software solution that SMBs can afford.”
The presentation will not only be celebrating the last 50 years of Pick, but also what is to come in the future for MultiValue technology as well.
A big focus for the future will be MultiValue moving toward cloud. “Attendees will learn about the benefits of cloud computing, how MultiValue is a perfect fit and see first-hand what goes into providing 99.999% uptime. (i.e., generators, power and cooling, 24x7 monitoring etc),” stated Pick.
The presentation will take place July 15, 2015, at 5:30 pm PT at the Zayo Group’s data center in Irvine, CA.
