Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.11, the final minor release of the mature Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Platform, is now available. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.11 reiterates Red Hat’s commitment to a 10-year product lifecycle for all major Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases and offers a secure, stable, and reliable platform for critical enterprise applications.
In addition to security and stability enhancements, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.11 provides additional updates to subscription management, debugging capabilities, and more, including new storage drivers, enhancements to Red Hat Access Support’s debugging capabilities, improvements for Red Hat Enterprise Linux guests, more information from subscription management services, updates OpenSCAP to version 1.0.8, and new storage drivers.
