IBM Customer Video with Dutch Cloud - New from Pulse 2012

Dutch Cloud is an infrastructure service provider in The Netherlands that uses IBM SmartCloud Provisioning and IBM virtualization with KVM. Virtualization has allowed Dutch Cloud to dramatically increase its revenue, while keeping operational costs in check.

"Virtualization is key for us," says Martijn Van Zoeren, CEO of Dutch Cloud, who was very pleased with the ease of deploying KVM. He points out that it is also important that the SmartCloud Provisioning layer is not dependent on a certain hypervisor thus making it possible for the company to use KVM, Hyper-V, and VMware in the mix. Increasingly, people are talking about being more efficient with their hardware and software, and trying to save money on administration costs, adds Michael Day, distinguished engineer, IBM, observing that virtualization is a critical part of that effort.
