SUSE Studio 1.3 is now available for ISVs and enterprise data centers. SUSE Studio helps customers build software application images in several formats and then deploy them on physical hardware in virtualized environments or cloud environments. The latest update to the tool includes features to help customers more easily deploy and manage self-contained, portable workloads across virtual and cloud environments such as Amazon EC2, OpenStack and SUSE Cloud. By reducing application deployment and lifecycle management time, SUSE says, IT organizations,ISVs and OEMs can deliver new technologies and services more quickly.
