The International Sybase User Group (ISUG) has announced the immediate availability of its latest course offering in conjunction with online training specialist eLearnIT LLC. The new course is entitled "ASE Performance & Tuning with MDA Tables" and has been planned to offer a pragmatic combination of both practical and theory-based skills for Sybase DBAs. With today's data center management demands becoming increasing time critical as well as mission critical, this course compehensively provides DBAs with the skills they will need to perform effectively when troubleshooting problem queries and bottlenecks within Sybase ASE.
"Our new e-Course marks our first foray beyond PowerBuilder into the broader range of Sybase product offerings. Specifically working with what is arguably the company's core product, we're excited about bringing our highly successful training approach to match the needs of Sybase ASE users," observes Yakov Werde, managing partner of eLearnIT LLC. "Course author and trainer, Brian Lefevre, is an ASE master and a seasoned educator with a wide following in North America. We are proud of the high quality, rich media presentations and in-depth lab exercises he has crafted."
"We believe Sybase shops all over the world will improve their database and application performance by employing the diagnostic techniques and corrective procedures revealed in this course," adds ISUG's executive director, Mike Harrold. "Perfomance and tuning can be a difficult art, but this course makes it simple by enabling the DBA to deploy techniques learned with immediate positive effect."
The new course is available immediately. Pricing starts at $1299 for individual licenses, with volume discounts available for companies needing more than one license. For more information, go here.
