The International Sybase User Group has announced the appointment of two members to its Board of Directors for 2010/2011.
Martin Clark has been reappointed as the Secretary to the Board, continuing in the role he has held since 2008. Mr. Clark runs his own consultancy, dividing his time between Europe and Asia. He has broad multinational experience in chain retailing, business consultancy and audit at director level.
In addition, the board appointed Jean-Pierre Dareys to the positon of South/Latin America Regional User Group Director. Mr. Dareys is a versatile IT professional with experience in the installation and maintenance of computer equipment, programming and managing client resources. His experience includes database design and administration, consulting, training, technical support, pre-post sales of products and services, lecturing at international conferences, and participating in the creation and maintenance of global heterogeneous, distributed and replicated systems.
