ISUG has announced the launch of its community wiki for Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE). While the initial wiki is still in its early formative stages, a team has been assembled to begin work on populating this valuable resource with content that will be of solid use to the community.
Starting off with content that will mirror some of the materials originally located in the Sybase FAQ, the ISUG wiki will offer a practical and pragmatic approach to knowledge-sharing that reflects the tools and technologies in users' hands today.
"Wikis are by their very nature collaborative tools that typically grow and change as the technology landscape evolves," said Mike Harrold, ISUG executive director. "We believe that members of the ISUG community will step up to the plate and help us create the number-one location on the web (or anywhere else!) for information about Sybase ASE."
ISUG members with Basic, Green, or Gold benefits can participate in the wiki project and are encouraged to use this new web location to share their years of experience with ASE and the knowledge that they have amassed.
