Mike Ruane President and CEO2022: Going with the Flow with MultiValue
As we approach the end of 2022, we at Revelation Software are just releasing our latest build of OpenInsight, version 10.2. This release has been over a year in development, and consists of changes, additions, and improvements requested by our end users and VARS, as well as specific items that we wanted to add into the product. Some changes to make the toolset easier to use, others to make the end-user experience better, and even more to increase our performance, making reporting and processing faster. Perhaps most striking: some vast improvement to reporting speeds.
2022 will mark the 30th year since OpenInsight was first released. It was the first graphical release of a MultiValue database and graphical user interface, and we modestly believe that we’re the best GUI MV product. We also like to think that we’ve kept the Open in OpenInsight, as evidenced by our ability to use multiple backends, or for other front ends to use our backend.
There have been some real advances with Digital Application Platforms (DAP), and also with Internal Automation (IA) or Workflow Automation (WA). OpenInsight has been a part of organizations’ workflows for years, but we’re ready now to work with some other vendors who offer WA products. Watch this space for more information.
We invite you to try OpenInsight. We think you’ll like it.
