Venkat Eswara is VP, Product Marketing at Vitria. His interests include big data analytics, cloud infrastructure and solutions for software platforms. Previously, at GE, Eswara is responsible for go-to-market strategy and execution to drive awareness, demand generation across industry verticals. Prior to the current role, he successfully led go-to-market strategy and launch of Oracle’s first industry-specific engineered system for communications industry. For more than eighteen years, Eswara has been in the telecommunications and IT industry and worked in areas of product marketing, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, product management and product development. Prior to joining Oracle, Eswara spent over fifteen years at Motorola and led leadership roles in mobile applications, next generation IP and 4G network services. Eswara is an accomplished presenter at various industry events and has also contributed to numerous authored articles in the trade publications. Eswara holds a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, and a master’s degree in engineering from University of Massachusetts, MA. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Osmania University, India.
