He has worked extensively on optimizing mining techniques on large data sets and understanding their impact on the business. Some his focus areas are Predictive Maintenance in asset heavy industries and understanding consumer buying behavior in the retail industry.
His technical skills rage from capturing cleaning and transforming data to doing descriptive and predictive analysis and visualizing results to ensure insights are actionable. He has extensive working with Cloudera, Hortonworks, Hadoop MR, Hive, R, SAS, SPSS, and various relational databases.
