Kalev H. Leetaru is the Founder of the GDELT Project. His work with big data has fundamentally redefined how we think about information at scale and how we define the boundaries of the big data era. His analysis has benefited clients, including the U.S. government, NBC Universal, the World Bank, and the Internet Archive. He is the past Yahoo Fellow in Residence for International Values, Communications Technology and the Global Internet and a former Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He is current a Council Member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Future of Government.
