Jason Proto is a Business Intelligence Associate within Grant Thornton's Technology Solutions Practice based out of Raleigh North Carolina.
Jason has spent 15 years as an IT systems architect and software implementation specialist in several industries from Financial to Consumer Product Market Analysis utilizing big data platforms. His technical abilities include MYSQL, Cloudera HUE, NoSQL, HiveSQL, and JAVA. Jason also has experience in data warehouse development and implementation utilizing Hadoop and Mongo DB, business reporting analytics, IT infrastructure design, network design and backbone implementation.
During his time at Northwestern University, Jason worked on big data implementation projects in AWS and Cloudera through the School of Professional Studies Information Systems program. Additionally Jason has been part of Big Data Discovery initiatives within Grant Thornton utilizing Oracle Big Data Discovery, Hadoop and Cloudera.
