Chris Van Wagoner
Chris Van Wagoner serves as chief strategy officer at Commvault. He teams with the company’s senior management to identify, evaluate, and execute on business and product growth opportunities across all technology, business, and market segments.
Van Wagoner also drives the investigation, analysis and recommendation of Commvault’s core corporate strategies and tactics, including evaluating competitive threats.
During his tenure with the company, he has played a major role in several significant company milestones. He spearheaded the initial launch of Comvault’s Galaxy backup and recovery product and in the transformation of the company from a leading data protection software provider to a broader unified data management company. Most recently, Von Wagoner has helped shape the evolution of Commvault into a recognized innovator within the cloud, managed services, and data security categories, as well as the expansion of Commvault into adjacent information management solutions.
Von Wagoner joined Commvault in 1996 after serving in senior marketing roles for companies in the consumer high tech, HBA and consumer packaged goods.
