Zumasys is acquiring Rover Data Systems, expanding its vertical market software business. Formerly known as Millennium III, the Rover ERP system has been completely rebranded by Zumasys. Airbyte,  creator of an open source data integration platform, has raised more than $26 million in Series A funding. The company says it solves two problems: First, companies always have to build and maintain connectors on their own—most "long tail'' data connectors are orphans that are not supported by closed-source ELT technologies. Second, data teams often have to do custom work around pre-built connectors to make them work within their data architecture. The open source approach addresses both problems with a user community that supports more connectors, which can be shared and used widely.

Juniper Networks, a provider of networking products, solutions and services, has announced version 4.0 of Apstra software, the intent-based networking solution acquired by Juniper in a deal that closed in January 2021. The new software version builds on the multi-vendor capabilities of the Apstra solution to support VMware NSX-T 3.0 and Enterprise SONiC, in addition to previously supported data center switching from Juniper, NVIDIA (NVIDIA Cumulus), Arista Networks, and Cisco Systems.
