Striim (pronounced “stream”) is an enterprise-grade, real-time streaming integration with intelligence platform. In fact, the two i’s stand for integration and intelligence. Striim makes it easy to ingest high volumes of streaming data—including enterprise data via log-based change data capture— for real-time Kafka and big data integration, hybrid cloud infrastructure, log correlation, edge processing, and streaming analytics.
Companies worldwide use the Striim platform for a wide variety of use cases including data security, fraud, SLA monitoring, customer experience, data modernization and centralization, and Internet of Things (IoT) analytics.
Everything with Striim happens in-memory, before data ever lands on disk. Striim provides real-time integration from a wide variety of data sources, including database transaction/change data, events, log files, message queues, application data, and IoT sensor/device data. Within milliseconds of the data being generated, companies can:
• filter out irrelevant data
• perform aggregations and group-by’s
• correlate information across streams
• combine metadata, reference and historical data with streaming data for context
• detect anomalies/outliers in real time
• perform pattern matching and advanced analytics
• tie to machine-learning models
Once streaming data pipelines are in place, it’s easy to fire alerts, trigger workflows, and perform advanced analytics. Striim also provides an in-memory results store, and push-based visualizations of data and events through streaming dashboards. Raw or transformed data can also be fed directly to a wide variety of targets such as Kafka, Cloud, or Hadoop environments in real time.
