NoSQL Data Architect
Wayfair
After spending the last 5 years bringing on Cassandra to various corporations, Ken has crossed over to the red and now focuses deeply in Aerospike. He’s spent the last year and a half introducing Wayfair to low latencies, high throughput and fault tolerance with its first installment of Aerospike. Wayfair’s immense year after year growth challenged him with creating a unified system across on-premises datacenters and in the cloud. Before Wayfair, Ken was a data architect at Verizon Labs managing NoSQL initiatives for emerging IoT applications. Back in his entrepreneur days, Ken ran a successful e-commerce web development firm during the dotcom boom (and bust).
